Doctor Who-liday Charity Art Show Extravaganza!
I was recently on a much deserved and anticipated break in America, where I was fortunate to see some amazing places and meet some fantastic people.
I was really lucky to be introduced to a wonderful man called Mike Collins, who amongst others things has his own pop up shop related to animation. He told me about a Doctor Who themed charity art show he was curating and asked me if I would do a piece for it. As a life long fan of the show I was delighted.
Below is the image I gave him which is available to purchase in a silent auction, 100% of the proceeds will go to The Friends and Helpers Foundation.
Check out these links to the site to see more of the artwork and maybe purchase some.
The exhibition starts Dec 13th

New painting!
Did a little painting today, I'm happy with how this came out. Even so still want to tinker with it.
I had grand plans to draw some dream things along the hair, that was until I added the stars, which I really like. Considering using this for my blog header, anyone have any thoughts?
As you can see still unsure which one I like the best.

Longing for summers return.
Trying new things, I feel like its working so I might be doing some more in this style. Heavily influenced by the wonderfully talented Brittney Lee.

Monday = Speed paintings
So I guess I use these as a gentle start to the week, good warm up and the quick results make me happy and set me on a good productive course.

Wedding Invites
Wedding Invites for my big sister.
The invites were printed on cream textured card at A5. The brief was to do something like an illuminated scroll. Below is the final invite with close ups of the letters. The border pattern was also printed onto cream envelopes. I had fun with the concealing heart shapes in the design.
