Some Life Drawings

A few weeks ago I returned to my life drawing studies having found a very good class close by to where I live. I had intended to post a few pics after every class but various reasons prevented me posting the others.  

Then the most recent class happened. 

With the stench of aerosol fumes floating down the stairs on my way to the art room, and upon arrival finding the model had failed to arrive it seemed like the evenings studies were doomed.  A few people in the class offered to stand in for a while just incase the model was late, which meant clothed figures.  

As it turns out I feel that these have been my most successful drawings of all the sessions!

My role on the film was as an assistant animator, which meant mainly working clean up on the lead female character. It was a truly amazing experience and I am so excited to see the film, it premiered in Berlin and got fantastic reviews.

Update - The film seems to have been received really well by those who managed to get to one of the few screenings of it, as I understand it has been released in America now as well. My Blog is NOT Extinct unlike this poor creature

I know it seems that my blog has become a relic of something long forgotten, but despite appearances it is not extinct. It is at best an endangered species.
